Mini Pizza Kids Style

Well after a 6:45 am Hockey practice for My little Middle Man, My youngest requested homemade cheese pizza so this is our Process. They Freeze and reheat great, which works great when I don't have time to stop and make homemade pizza. Enjoy!!

Pizza Dough

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

Directions

  1. Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Mix in oil and warm water. Coat the dough with olive oil, place it in a large bowl and cover it with kitchen wrap or a grocery bag. Let the dough rise for about an hour at room temperature, then push it down again so it deflates.
  2. Separate Dough into small balls,
  3. Roll dough on floured surface, to desired size.

We used Hunts Spaghetti sauce, only because it was in the pantry from the last stock up sale price at Fred Meyer. My Stock up price .88-1.00 a can.
We use shredded Mozzarella cheese.

My Little Man did an awesome job putting the sauce and cheese on the pizzas.

We baked them at 400 Degrees until the Cheese was melted and crust were golden brown.

Places on cooling racks, wrapped each in plastic wrap and placed in Freezer bags and in the freezer they go.
This Momma is off to take a nap before My littlest mans hockey game this evening..
